Web Sites come in various types and styles; the style is basically to the customers taste. The type is based what the customer needs. Be it content managed, (Database driven and easy to update) eCommerce, (for Online Sales) Dynamic (Content changes but can require code knowledge to update - usually template based) or Static (Content hardly ever changes – can require code knowledge to update.

Web Hosting:

Choosing where to host your web site will be based on what type of type of hosting is required for the type of website you want or require.

Over the years we have tried at least 10 web hosting companies and found you get exactly what you pay for, be it Linux or Windows based hosting. Free web hosting is never a good idea for a business hosting package as they tend to have either a lot of down time, no support, framed sites or advertising on your web site. Free Web Hosting is generally for the home user and it should be kept that way.

Web hosting and domain name hosting is a separate thing but can be done with the same hosting company some are better for one thing than others it depends on what your site requires?. If you have a static website and only require a few megabytes of space but require gigabytes of space for hosting email, then you should choose a company with a flexible hosting package, there is no point paying for space or databases and software you are never going to use.  You can always upgrade when the time comes if you need to.
